Mag. Nina Koren, Phd, MSc
Supporting people in exploring and unravelling their deep self has been a central concern and joy of Nina Koren for many years. She is a professional in Body Mind Spirit Integration and works as a qualified counsellor, trainer and author in freelance practice in Graz, Austria and internationally.
She taught at the Inter-University College for Health and Development (Graz), in the Advanced Studies Program at the Barbara Brennan Institute in Oxford, and as director of the Science Department in Lisbon in the Master Course for Body Mind Process Facilitation, which she helped to develop. Together with Christof Huber, she founded the meditative dance and self-perception series “Conscious Movement” as well as the course presented here on the subject of connection.
Nina is a registered Member at the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She holds a Master’s degree in Complementary, Psychosocial and Integrated Health Sciences (MSc), a PhD in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Russian and French Philology. In addition, she completed a six-year training at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (Mondsee, Cologne) as well as further training in hospice and mourning accompaniment, process work according to Mindell and dance pedagogy.
As part of her research in the field of integrative health care Nina Koren published the anthology “Brennan Healing Science: An Integrative Approach to Therapeutic Intervention” at Nova Science in New York in 2018 and a number of research papers in the field of Body Mind Work in the “Journal for Alternative Medicine Research” (New York, 2018). She has also published on international relations and politics for many years.
Christof Huber
Christof Huber provides body-oriented process work, energy work and supervision for individuals, couples, groups and teams. He works in freelance practice in Bern, Switzerland and internationally, and he is also a workshop leader in this field.
Helping people to connect with their own body to deepen awareness and consciousness is one of the primary focuses of his work. Together with Nina Koren, he also developed and organised a series of seminars on this topic called “Conscious Movement”.
Christof Huber holds an MSc degree in Complementary, Psychosocial and Integrated Health Sciences and he is a graduate of an intensive six-year training program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. He is also a licensed kindergarten teacher. In 2020 he completed a university master course in Comparative Theology at the University of Salzburg.
Christof Huber was a member of the faculty at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (Bad Ischl), the Brennan Institute (Oxford) and in the Master’s course “Body Mind Process Facilitation Training” (Lisbon). He also has many years of experience as a kindergarten teacher, special education teacher, carer, and social worker for children and adults with disabilities.
Other relevant areas of his educational and work history include training in bodywork, body awareness, dance-improvisation, acting and singing.
Christof Huber was born in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland and lives in Bern.
